This town is by itself worth a visit in fact it is full of History and it has a very charming Medieval center and a beautiful Gothic Cathedral , the Royal Monastery of Brou that is one of the most famous monuments in France.
As of next Friday November 7th and for the next 4 consecutive days the town hosts the Salon de La Gastronomie , an exhibition with more than 150 food stands , offering all the most famous specialties from the Ain Region, among those the famous poultry and a very large selection of of French wines that can be tested and bought directly from the producers . Worth seeing it also because the Salon closes late in the evenings and the entry ticket is very cheap, 5 Euro/person, free for children younger than 12th .
