The Old town becomes the theater for open markets , exhibitions in the most famous historical places , stands where you can buy the food that people of the 17th century used to eat such as roasted boar, ham off the bone, vegetable soup, mulled wine.
There is a program full of activities for adults and kids including guided tours of City Hall, and of the Passage de Monetier, a path through the Old Town’s walls that is only open during the Escalade. Find the entrance to the passage at rue du Perron 19, and you’ll see a unique side of mysterious Geneva

My favorite event within these two days is the Sunday evening promenade, where more than 800 people in costume circle on foot and on horseback through Old Town in Europe’s largest historical parade, a real MUST SEE
On the left the itinerary of the Parade that starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. in Place Bourg Du Four
