Not to miss UNOG Open Day to celebrate the 70 anniversary on Saturday October 24th from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m.

This is a not to miss opportunity !
The United Nation Organizations celebrate their 70th anniversary and in this occasion they open the door  the public for a series of exceptional activities including concerts, exhibitions,  ballets , movies, choirs and many more events. During the day it will be also possible to visit the 80 stands with the representations of the permanent missions, specialized agencies and other partners who will explain their activities and programs.

Here is a sample of the unique activities that can be done during the day
  • Inauguration of the Rebirth sculpture at noon
  • Free Guided Tours of the Palais de Nations and the Library
  • Simulation of the Large Hadron Collider by CERN 
Children activities include puppet shows , workshops and much more .

Worth mentioning that in the Ariana park ,the Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) will demonstrate how Unmanned Aerial Vehicles are used to obtain visuals in difficult  to reach areas during crisis situations
